About Casa Primary
A new kind of home for New York families.
Built on one belief — that the parent and the child belong together.

Why we exist
New York won’t slow down for anyone. So we made a place that does.
Casa Primary began with a simple observation: the city asks so much of families, and gives so little room to simply be together. We wanted a space where a child could discover at their own pace, and where a parent could exhale under the same roof — not a drop-off, not a waiting area, but a shared home in the middle of it all.
Our approach
A prepared environment
Every shelf, material and corner is arranged with intention — calm, ordered, and made for small hands.
Freedom within limits
Children choose their work and move at their own rhythm, guided gently rather than directed.
Grace & courtesy
We don’t discipline — we model. Social and emotional skills are taught, then lived, every day.
The space
Light, wood & room to breathe.
In the heart of Tribeca, our home is sensory-conscious by design — warm materials, natural light, and a calm that settles the nervous system the moment you walk in. It is a shoe-free home — grip socks for children and parents alike — so every floor is a clean place to sit, crawl and gather.

A note from our founder
‘For years I led Montessori classrooms and watched the same quiet wonder, again and again — a child, given room and trust, becoming wholly themselves. I also saw how much this city asks of the families I came to love. Casa Primary is everything those years taught me a child needs — and everything I wished those families had: a place that moves at the pace of childhood, and holds the parent with the same care.’
